So I got my the assignment of who I will be living with and we have already started emailing!! Opening that email felt better then any Christmas I have ever experienced haha well sorta, anyway it was a fabulous feeling! It is an older Samoan couple who seem soooo cute and funny. They have two older kids who are both married with children. They actually live next door so I will get to see their kids and grandkids a lot which I am so excited about! They refer to me as part of their family and say that I will have 5 new nieces and nephews, best feeling ever :) It is a 30 minute walk to the elementary school everyday. . . no comment. Oh but do not worry, we are 2 miles from the beach!! WHOO HOO!! They seem like such a great family, her son is their bishop, her daughter is the primary president and they both have callings, and jobs as well so they seem busy, but in a good way. Anyway, I can not wait to receive pictures of them, and their town, it is starting to finally feel real!!
Besides the exciting news of my new family, I am starting to map out what exaclty I have to do. One must do is skydive there, bungee jump off the words largest bungee jump, learn to surf, explore chirstchurch and Queenstown and Zorbing (yes you are in a giant ball with water in it and yes, they have zorbing tracks)!!
